Younha legal dispute with her Agency Finally over!! [enewsWorld korea]

Younha Ends Legal Disputes with Her Agency

2012-02-02 09:47

The legal dispute between Younha and her agency Lion Media came to a close as the court ruled that Lion Media must pay 100,000,000 million won to the singer.

Last April, the singer lodged a lawsuit case against Lion Media demanded the annulment of her contract and 400 million won.

Younha stating: "I was only a 15-year-old minor when I signed an exclusive contract with Lion Media, and that contract was extremely unfair because I didn't know anything about the realities of music and entertainment industry."

The Seoul Central District Court handed out its final decision at the court hearing held on Feb. 01.

A rep from legal representatives of Younha told Enews on the day:

- "Now Younha's legal dispute has come to an end. Her exclusive contract with Lion Media is now completely over."

After Younha′s initial suit, Lion Media countersued Younha for breaching her contract in July. The agency demanded that Younha must pay 1 billion won to compensate for their incurred losses due to her breach of contract. The two parties had been going through court arrangement procedures for a long time before the court ruled out the final verdict.

Younha debuted in Japan in 2004 "Yubikiri" and gained lots of popularity in the fans from the Hit Single "Houkiboushi"  the theme song from the Anime "Bleach"  first, ranking on the Oricon chart, before later earning widespread popularity in Korea with hit songs including "Password 486" in 2007.

    1. Yes that's true! younha rock ^^, not all E-news fan site about Kpop are less information in Kpop artist T^T, honestly if you hired a pro. translator you need to pay them for their very good translation, honestly like i said before im an independent translator, i only translate and maximize the information i gained and understand in hangul for the sake of other fans that love Younha even in ups and downs. on google their translator are crazy... but there are some words are correct.. if you translate a korean hangul there.. you see wrong words but you gained idea, in percentage 7 out of 100% are not usable and understandable, yes may simple 1 word, may translate good not all..

and Like on Hello Younha China Fan Site, they only care on their language, they didn't care about other members there who can't read chinese character.. im not against their site, but i say this because of the other fans that are not chinese & really want to know update about younha .. i think their selfish.. they can write english when i message them but they didn't translate,.. i think they're lazy about translating it english..

well thank you again for visiting ^^
